| On Oct.22, Sichuan Changhong released its third-quarter report. The data shows that within the third-quarter of 2005, the main business earnings reached 3.016 billion yuan, 17.27 percent rise compared with the same period last year; and total profit increased 178.63% to 49.38 million yuan. From January to September, the main business earnings rose 32.35 per cent to 10.24 billion yuan, and net profit 220.07% to 265 million yuan.
On the fundamentals of summing up work in the first half of the year, Changhong is tightly adhere to the business objectives set by the board for 2005, continuing to raise the competitiveness of products and efficiency of enterprise operations. Now the manufacturing situation is positive and maintaining stable development. Based on the present manufacturing situation and the initial estimate , Changhong predicts a big increase in net profit compared with the corresponding period last year.
